What is Hinduism?
Hinduism is the religion of the Hindu community, which includes more than 60 million people in the world.
The word “Hindu” is derived from the Sanskrit word for “nation” or “people.”
In Hinduism, a person’s religious affiliation is determined by a combination of the number of gods and goddesses he or she worships and the number and nature of his or her religious practices.
The term Hinduism derives from the word for nation or people, Hatha-Vraga.
